Worth it with discount

I'd been eyeing Realgoodfoods for a while and finally pulled the trigger when I found a 20% off code. I got a bundle of the General Tso Chicken and the Sausage Egg and Cheese Sandwiches. With the discount, it felt like a really good deal for high-protein options. Without it, the prices are a little high for my budget, but the quality is there. Happy with my purchase.

Good product, slow support

I placed an order for the Variety Pack with several kinds of Chicken Crust Pizza and some Breakfast Sandwiches. The ordering process was straightforward on their site. It shipped within two days, and everything arrived perfectly frozen, which was impressive considering it traveled across the country. I had a question about cooking times for the Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Chicken, so I emailed customer support. It took them almost 48 hours to get back to me, which felt a bit slow. However, the food itself was excellent, especially the Chicken Enchiladas. Good for quick meals, just don't expect instant answers from support.

Consistent quality, easy reorder

I've ordered from Realgoodfoods a few times now, and it's always reliable. My latest order of their Lightly Breaded Chicken Strips was just as good as the first batch. Shipping took about 4 days to get to me in Phoenix, which is standard. Good for busy weeks.

Decent taste, small portions

I tried the Pepperoni Pizza and also a pack of the Chicken Nuggets. The pizza tasted surprisingly good for a low-carb option, and the nuggets were solid. My only minor gripe is the portion size on the pizza; it felt a little small for the price. Delivery was quick, though, arriving in 3 days. Overall, a good experience, but I wish there was a slightly larger pizza option.

Are the chicken strips actually low carb? Some 'keto-friendly' stuff out there is sneaky with the net carbs.

T Tara C. 1 month ago
From what I remember on the labels, they're legit low carb. I'm pretty strict keto and they fit my macros without issue.

They're usually pretty good about being transparent with the nutrition info. I'd double check the specific product page but generally yes.

Thinking of signing up for a subscription. Is it easy to pause or cancel if I need to?

D Dana Doyle 1 month ago
Yeah, managing subscriptions is pretty straightforward. You can do it right from your account settings, pause or skip deliveries without a hassle.

I paused mine for a month when I was going out of town. Super easy, no weird hoops to jump through.

How do their chicken crust pizzas compare to Tattooed Chef's cauliflower crust ones? Different vibe, I know, but looking for good low-carb pizza options.

D Dana Osei 3 weeks ago
Totally different. Tattooed Chef is more of a veggie crust, Real Good's chicken crust is literally just chicken. If you want more protein and less 'bready' feel, Real Good wins. Taste is pretty good for what it is.

Real Good is way more protein-focused. Tattooed Chef's crust feels a bit more like traditional pizza. Depends what you're going for.

What's the deal with returns for these frozen meals? What if I get a bunch of stuff and don't like it?

D David Marsh 1 month ago
For frozen food, I don't think you can really 'return' it like clothes. If there's an issue with quality or damage though, they're usually pretty good about refunds or replacements.

Yeah, it's a food product so returns aren't really a thing. If it's bad though, reach out to their support, they usually make it right.

Hey, thinking about trying the chicken crust pizzas. Do these ship to like, New York City without melting? Worried about them arriving as soup.

S Steve 3 weeks ago
Yeah, they use dry ice and special packaging. Mine came to Chicago perfectly frozen even in summer, so NYC should be fine.

Mine arrived totally solid too, I think they pack 'em really well for shipping.

Can I use two different discount codes on an order? I've got an influencer code and signed up for the newsletter for another one.

F Faith J. 1 month ago
Nah, pretty sure it's just one code per order. Tried that once, it only took the last one I entered.

Yeah, pretty standard for most online stores. You gotta pick the best one unfortunately.

I'm thinking about grabbing a variety pack. Are there any current free shipping deals, or do I always have to pay for shipping?

J Josh A. 3 weeks ago
They often have free shipping if you hit a certain order total, or sometimes on specific bundles. Keep an eye out for those.

R Raj T. 3 weeks ago
I think sometimes bundles or subscriptions get free shipping. Worth checking their promotions page or signing up for emails.

Does anyone know if Real Good Foods is actually a legit company? Or is it one of those sketchy online-only brands that disappear?

C Carly 1 month ago
Totally legit. I've been ordering from them for a while, and I've seen their stuff in some grocery stores too.

They're a real company, seen them pop up in my local Whole Foods sometimes. Definitely not a scam.
